Anchor/Presenter, ESPN International
Coral Lu is a bilingual Mandarin and English anchor and presenter, working on content creation for ESPN’s long-term collaboration with Tencent in China, one of the top Internet and technology companies in the world. Lu covers multiple sports in the United States as a sideline contributor, including the NBA, NCAA basketball, golf and X Games. In addition, she hosts several Chinese shows during the NBA All-Star Game and the NBA Finals. As a part of her role, Lu not only shows her talent on-air, but also contributes behind-the-scenes, including video editing, writing, translation and production.
Lu joined ESPN in March 2016 as an international assignment editor. Her daily responsibilities focused on broadcast coordination of all sports with China. Prior to joining ESPN, Lu interned at International Channel Shanghai, and graduated from Northwestern University with a Master of Science in Journalism. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Kansas.
In addition to her passion for sports, Lu is a true foodie and wants to try all types of cuisine. Her strategy is to search for delicious food in every city she visits.
