Director, TV & Marketing, ESPN ANZ
Patrick Bour is the Director of Television and Marketing for ESPN ANZ, based in Sydney. Patrick reports directly to Haydn Arndt, General Manager, ESPN ANZ.
Patrick oversees ESPN’s television business in the region, which includes the ESPN and ESPN2 networks and WatchESPN streaming platform. His areas of responsibility include affiliate sales, programming strategy and acquisition, local production, channel operations and regional syndication.
Patrick is also responsible for ANZ marketing and manages the regional marketing team and all marketing activity for both the television and digital assets.
Patrick joined ESPN in London in 2008 as Legal Counsel and worked on the launch of ESPN’s first live network in the UK, as well as the acquisition and integration of Racing Live (now ESPNF1) and Footytips.com (now ESPNFootytips). In 2011 he was promoted to Associate Principal Counsel, and in 2012 he relocated to New York to work across ESPN’s International and US businesses. In 2014 Patrick spent 6 months in Singapore as the Commercial Director for ESPN’s Asia business.
Prior to joining ESPN, Patrick worked for law firms Hunt & Hunt and Blake Dawson Waldron in Sydney.
Patrick graduated from Macquarie University, Sydney, with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Media Studies. He is admitted to practice law in NSW, the UK and New York State.
