ESPN Caribbean Home of the 2019 NBA Playoffs

As the Caribbean home of the NBA, ESPN Caribbean and ESPN Play will provide comprehensive coverage of the 2019 NBA Playoffs from the opening tip off to the raising of the Larry O’Brien Trophy. Action begins this weekend with three first round Game 1’s, including when the Los Angeles Clippers face the Golden State Warriors, who are looking for their fifth consecutive NBA Finals appearance and fourth title in the last five years, on Saturday, April 13 at 8:15 p.m. ET. Coverage will continue at 10:30 p.m. ET when the San Antonio Spurs, returning to the Playoffs for the 22nd consecutive year, play the Denver Nuggets, making their first playoff appearance since the 2012-2013 season. Weekend coverage concludes on Sunday, April 14 when the Oklahoma City Thunder face the Portland Trail Blazers at 3:30 p.m. ET. All games airing on ESPN Caribbean will also stream live on ESPN Play.

ESPN Caribbean Presents 2019 Grenada Invitational

ESPN Caribbean will present its third consecutive live and exclusive coverage of the Grenada Invitational, the Southern Caribbean’s premier track and field meet, this Saturday, April 13 from 6 to 9 p.m. ET on ESPN2 Caribbean and ESPN Play.  Kirani James, a two-time Olympic medalist and Grenada’s first Olympic medalist, will serve as event ambassador and welcome competing athletes to his namesake stadium in St. George’s. The meet will feature over 140 athletes, including three-time Olympic competitor Asafa Powell and Justin Gatlin, current reigning 100m World Champion and Rio 2016 silver medalist.

ESPN and Augusta National Golf Club to Present The Masters Tournament in Latin America and the Caribbean

ESPN Caribbean’s live multiplatform coverage of the 2019 Masters, presented for the 26th consecutive year in the region, starts April 10. The event will air across 25 countries and territories in the region.

ESPN Acquires Exclusive Rights to the Emirates FA Cup in Latin America, the Caribbean and Australia

ESPN has reached a multi-year agreement for exclusive rights to the Emirates FA Cup, the oldest and longest-running domestic cup competition in soccer, it was announced today.  The agreement grants ESPN exclusive rights across Latin America (Spanish-speaking), the Caribbean and Australia, effective from 2019.

ESPN2 Caribbean to Present All Four Rounds of 2019 PLAYERS Championship March 14-17

ESPN2 Caribbean will be the home for golf fans in the Caribbean looking to watch The PLAYERS Championship, one of the PGA Tour’s most prestigious tournaments, March 14-17. Live coverage of the event from TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL will start with coverage of the Featured Groups on Thursday and Friday, March 14 and 15, at 7:30 a.m. ET.  Each Championship Round will also air Thursday to Sunday, at 1 p.m. ET or 3 p.m. ET.  Coverage also will be available via streaming on ESPN Play – ESPN Caribbean’s multiscreen live and on-demand broadband service.

ESPN has reached a comprehensive multimedia agreement with Major League Soccer (MLS) for rights to MLS across all its platforms in Latin America (Spanish-speaking) and the Caribbean, effective 2019 to 2022.

ESPN Caribbean Presents the 2019 NBA All-Star

ESPN Caribbean presents the 2019 NBA All-Star from Charlotte, N.C., Friday to Sunday, February 15-17. On Friday, ESPN Caribbean will air the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game Presented by Ruffles at 7:00 p.m. ET and the MTN DEW ICE Rising Stars at 9:00 p.m. ET. ESPN will also air the State Farm All-Star Saturday Night on Saturday at 8:00 p.m. ET and present the 68th NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, at 8:00 p.m. ET. The 2019 NBA All-Star also streams live on ESPN Play.
