ESPN’s Coverage in the Caribbean Starts Sunday May 22nd at 5 a.m.

ESPN International will present live exclusive coverage of the 115th Roland Garros to over 30 countries in the Caribbean as well as on cruise ships in the region.  Comprehensive coverage of tennis’ only clay court Grand Slam begins with the first round matches on Sunday, May 22, at 5 a.m. ET and ends on Sunday, June 5, with the Men’s Final beginning at 9 a.m. ET.

Overall, ESPN International will present exclusive coverage of the event throughout the Caribbean with 100 hours of live content televised via its pan-regional network. On ESPN Play, fans can stream 1,200 hours of live Roland Garros coverage, replays of the best matches of each day and exclusive live court feed coverage from all 15 available courts, capturing every point from every match.

Roland Garros is the second of tennis’ four Grand Slams and since it is played on clay, it proves to be a grueling test for all competitors. Serena Williams is expected to defend her 2015 Roland Garros title, while Stan Wawrinka plays for his second win after defeating Novak Djokovic in the final to win last year. Djokovic has made it to three Roland Garros finals, but has yet to win the tournament.
