ESPN Reaches Agreement with Cricket Ireland for Spring and Summer International Matches

ESPN has reached a rights agreement for rights in the Caribbean for Cricket Ireland matches. Under the agreement, all Cricket Ireland matches will air live on ESPN television and digital platforms in the Caribbean.
The new agreement will feature least 10 matches, including the 2019 Ireland Tri-Nations Series and One Day International competitions against England and Afghanistan. West Indies captain Jason Holder hopes to lead the West Indies through four matches with Ireland and Bangladesh on to the Tri-Nation Series Final and One Day International competitions—then carry that momentum to the 2019 Cricket World Cup.
Live action begins tomorrow, Friday, May 3 at 5:45 a.m. ET, with coverage on ESPN and ESPN2 in the Caribbean. ESPN Play, ESPN’s multiscreen live and on-demand broadband service in the Caribbean, will stream all the matches live.
