ESPN Caribbean presents live, exclusive action from Cricket West Indies’ prestigious One Day International (ODI) tournament, the Colonial Medical Insurance Super50 Cup. Thirteen day-night matches will air from the Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad beginning Nov. 7 on the ESPN Caribbean television network, as well as on ESPN Play (www.espnplay.com) — ESPN’s multiscreen live and on-demand broadband service.

The region’s elite will be vying for the trophy with the Combined Campuses & Colleges (C.C.C.) Marooners aiming to defend their first title won last year. ESPN Caribbean will bring action from Zone B which consists of the hosts and 11-time champs, the T&T Red Force, as well as last year’s beaten finalists, Guyana Jaguars. 2017 champs, Windward Islands Volcanoes, the West Indies Emerging Players and USA will round out the Zone. The Red Force will be relying on big names such as West Indies internationals Darren Bravo and Jason Mohammed to deliver the goods.

Zone A consists of the title-holders, C.C.C., with powerhouses Jamaica Scorpions and Barbados Pride considered their closest rivals. Leeward Islands Hurricanes and Canada complete the Zone, with all these games taking place in St. Kitts. The Marooners will be led by Windies star, Carlos Brathwaite, with stars such as Jamaica’s Rovman Powell and Leewards’ Alzarri Joseph and Hayden Walsh Jr. poised to excite crowds and put selectors on notice.

The top two teams will advance from each Zone into the Semi-Finals from Nov. 28, with the Final bowling off on Dec. 1. ESPN’s Jamaican cricket pundit, Alexis Nunes, will be on site for these knockout matches from Trinidad, bringing her expertise and Caribbean flair to the run-in to the title decider. This tournament serves as a prelude to the West Indies’ limited overs campaign next year which includes defending the World T20 crown in Australia.
