He’s in the top 10 on the runs-scoring chart, and his team will also depend on West Indies’ spinner Ashley Nurse, who is second on the wickets-chart with 16 wickets. The Emerging Players will be relying on Keon Harding (16 wickets) and Justin Greaves (282 runs) for the upset.
The second semi-final on Friday will pit tournament favourites, T&T Red Force, against minnows, Leeward Islands Hurricanes. Red Force will be looking for their 12th title after topping Zone B. Imran Khan’s team will be depending on the explosive Darren Bravo (447 runs at an average of 112) and pacer Anderson Phillip (15 wickets), while Leewards’ hopes rest on the competition’s leading batsman, Kieran Powell (464 runs) and leading wicket-taker, Sheeno Berridge (17 wickets).
The Grand Final bowls off Sunday at 12.15 p.m. from the Oval as well.
