ESPN Caribbean Features Encore Presentation of Masters Tournament Epic Victories

Tiger Woods’ 1997, 2001, 2002 and 2019 wins; Angel Cabrera’s first title in 2009 among the presentation

ESPN Caribbean continues its salute of the Masters Tournament with encore presentations of classic Masters coverage and Official Masters Films, giving viewers in the Caribbean a chance to relive the drama and excitement of some of the tournament’s epic wins. Masters Films will air across ESPN Caribbean and ESPN2 Caribbean over three days beginning today, Wednesday, April 8.

In addition to classic Masters coverage and official Masters Films, ESPN Caribbean will also feature a presentation of the 2019 edition of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur where Jennifer Kupcho made history by winning the event’s inaugural edition.

Highlights include:

2019 – In an improbable comeback, Tiger Woods wins his fifth Masters

2017 – After years of frustration, Sergio Garcia won his first major tournament, defeating Justin Rose in a sudden-death playoff.

2012 — Bubba Watson won the first of his two Masters green jackets, beating Louis Oosthuizen in a playoff with an incredible shot off the pine straw on the 10th to set up his winning putt.

2009 — Ángel Cabrera of Argentina won his first Masters title in a playoff over Chad Campbell and Kenny Perry, becoming the first (and only) player from South America to win the prestigious event

2002 – Tiger Woods wins his third Masters title and second in a row

2001 – Tiger Woods scored his second Masters victory with a two-stroke win over David Duval.

2005 – Tiger Woods wins his fourth green jacket at age 29. Woods improbably chipped into the hole on the 16th at Augusta National, perhaps the most memorable shot of his storied career.

1997 – A then 21-year-old Tiger Woods wins his first Masters by a wide margin.

Masters Par 3 Contest – A fun event held on the day before the Masters each year on the Par 3 course at Augusta National Golf Course featuring current Masters players as well as some legendary former winners.
