ESPN Caribbean presents the 2020-2021 NBA telecast schedule, including full coverage of more than 49 regular-season games for the first half of the season, the Playoffs and NBA Finals. The broadcast includes ESPN’s season opener on Wednesday, December 23; Christmas Day games; up to 44 NBA Playoffs and exclusive 2021 NBA Finals coverage. This season, ESPN will exclusively televise the 2021 Western Conference Finals. Games will air on ESPN Caribbean, ESPN2 Caribbean and stream live on the ESPN App.
The new 2020-21 NBA Regular Season brings at least five appearances each by the Los Angeles Lakers, Golden State Warriors, LA Clippers, Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks and New Orleans Pelicans. Coverage begins with the Dallas Mavericks vs. Phoenix Suns, and Chris Paul’s debut with the Suns. It is followed by the 2020 Eastern Conference Finals rematch on Wed, Jan. 6 when Boston visits Miami, and 15 doubleheaders featuring Luka Dončić versus Giannis Antetokounmpo and Zion Williamson versus LeBron James.
This season’s NBA five-game Christmas Day Special includes 13 consecutive hours of live event coverage. The primetime matchup will feature the defending NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers, starring 2020 Finals M.V.P. LeBron James, and the Dallas Mavericks, starring NBA All-Star Luka Dončić. The game airs at 8 p.m. on ESPN.
