ESPN Caribbean Presents the 2021 NBA All-Star on March 7

ESPN Caribbean presents the 2021 NBA All–Star from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta on Sunday, March 7, coverage starting at 5 p.m. ET with the 2021 NBA All-Star Pregame Show. ESPN Caribbean will also air the 2021 NBA All-Star Skills and Three-Point Competitions at 6:30 p.m. ET and the NBA All-Star Game at 8 p.m. ET. All the action will take place in one night for the first time.

The NBA All-Star Game 2021 rosters were determined through the NBA All-Star Draft, where the fans voted online for their favorite player from each conference. Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James – Western Conference – and the Brooklyn Nets’ Kevin Durant – Eastern Conference – won the fan vote as team captains. The teams were hand-picked by both, who alternated picks until each team’s roster was filled. The Team LeBron starting lineup includes LeBron James, Giannis Antetokoumpo, Stephen Curry, and Luka Doncic, and Nikola Jokic. The Team Durant starting lineup includes, Kyrie Irving, Joel Embiid, Kawhi Leonard, Bradley Beal, and Jayson Tatum.

As part of this year’s events, the league will pay tribute again to honor Kobe Bryant by incorporating 24 points into a final score. Also, the NBA and National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) announced that they will commit more than $2.5 million in funds and resources toward Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and support and awareness around equity and access to care for the pandemic, relief and vaccines.

Fans can follow all the action on ESPN Caribbean social platforms and via #NBAxESPN.
