ESPN to Present the 26th Season of Major League Soccer

Coverage of the 2021 MLS Season Opening Weekend starts Saturday, April 17

ESPN Caribbean coverage of the 2021 MLS Season Opening Weekend will begin Saturday, April 17, through Monday, April 19. Coverage on ESPN will include multiple matches and extensive content with ten live games on the ESPN App each week. The coverage will feature second-year franchise Inter Miami CF vs. LA Galaxy, the most successful club in MLS history, on Sunday, April 18 at 10 p.m. ET.

The opening weekend features an Audi 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs rematch between Seattle Sounders FC and Minnesota United on April 16. The highly anticipated Austin FC debut when meeting the Concacaf Champions League finalist LAFC on April 17. Additionally, a Canadian Clasique showdown between CF Montréal and Toronto FC, and the first match of the 2021 season, featuring Houston Dynamo FC hosting the San Jose Earthquakes.

ESPN linear network will provide extensive news, information and analysis across a variety of studio shows, including SportsCenter, radio, online and mobile. ESPN.com will provide live leaderboards, news, and analysis.
