The Hundred tournament is making its debut today July 21 in London, England bringing a new and unique format to fans around the world. ESPN will have the exclusive broadcast for Caribbean fans to enjoy over 200 hours of live coverage of this new version of cricket with 100-ball per-side matches. The opening match will feature London Oval Invincibles vs. Manchester Originals at the historic Oval Cricket Ground in London.
There will be eight men’s and women’s teams from major cities across England and Wales, both sides competing with equal weight in the tournament. The squads are Birmingham Phoenix, London Spirit, Manchester Originals, Northern Superchargers, Oval Invincibles, Southern Brave, Trent Rockets and Welsh Fire, all have 15 players and as many as three foreign cricketers can feature in one playing XI.
The Women’s and Men’s finals will take place August 21, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. EST respectively from London’s Lord’s Cricket Ground. More information can be found at www.espncricinfo.com
