- The 2022 event tees off April 7, at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia
- The Masters Par 3 Contest returns after a two-year absence on Wednesday, April 6
ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN Play will bring Caribbean fans expanded live coverage of the 86th Masters Tournament, from April 7-10, at the Augusta National Golf Club, in Augusta, Georgia. Comprehensive coverage begins on April 6 with the Par 3 Content. Thursday and Friday will include Featured Group coverage each morning with continued First Round Coverage beginning at 3 PM. Coverage continues during the weekend, wrapping up the Final Round on Sunday where the Green Jacket will be awarded to the winner.
The Majors season is starting with the Masters, and the spectacular Augusta National Golf Course will be the setting to see the best ranking golfers in the world in action.
The five-time green jacket winner Tiger Woods (1997, 2001, 2002, 2005 and 2019,) confirmed his participation and although the feat is very difficult, Woods will attempt to achieve Jack Nicklaus’ record. Nicklaus is the holder of six Masters, the golfer with most majors won in history (18 conquests compared to 15 for Tiger).
This year a special edition is taking place, marked by a millionaire prize and the presence of Woods, the current champion Hideki Matsuyama, the Number 1 in the world Scottie Scheffler and Dustin Johnson.
