Caribbean fans will be able to experience The Open Championship, the oldest tournament in the world, live from the mythical St. Andrews Golf Course with all of the best golfers in the world, including Caymanian Aaron Jarvis
Extensive coverage of the last major of the season will be televised LIVE on ESPN2 and on ESPN Play with exclusive Featured Groups and Featured Holes on Saturday & Sunday
The 150th edition of The Open Championship will take place at the St. Andrews Links (Old Course,) the birthplace of modern golf, with the long-awaited return of Tiger Woods and the best golfers on the planet in all their glory. Among them Aaron Jarvis from the Cayman Islands, who earned his spot after winning the last Latin American Amateur Championship, with hopes of being one of the favorites in this historic event on British soil.
No championship has so many editions, in addition to representing part of the entire history and tradition of golf, are the values the St. Andrews has come to symbolize. It is arguably the most iconic of the 14 courses in the U.K. that have historically covered all 150 editions.
From Thursday, July 14 to Sunday, July 17, at par 72 and 7,313 yards, ESPN2 & ESPN Play will provide exceptional coverage, with the opportunity for golf fans to experience all that this prestigious championship has to offer.
