- As every December 25, the NBA will have five of the best games, for sports lovers to experience each of these matches LIVE on ESPN.
Christmas anticipation is here and with that comes the NBA special star-studded schedule. Games will be taking place at the Madison Square Garden in New York, the American Airlines Center in Dallas, the TD Garden in Boston, the Chase Center in San Francisco and the Ball Arena in Denver.
The best basketball league in the world has many statistics and records, with the Christmas Day matches having some of the most interesting data:
- Player with the most wins: Dwayne Wade – 10 wins in 13 games played.
- Player with the most points: Kobe Bryant with 395 points in 16 games played.
- Most points scored in a single game: Bernard King with 60 against New Jersey playing for the Knicks in 1984.
- Most rebounds in a single game: Wilt Chamberlain playing for Philadelphia against the Knicks in 1961.
In addition, the Lakers, who so far have 13 wins and 16 losses, have a record player among their ranks. This time we are not talking about Lebron James, but about Russel Westbrook, historical leader in the triple-double table. With a total of 196 so far, he leads a statistic that continues to excitement to the NBA Christmas special.
Coming back to Lebron, he is currently 732 points away from becoming the league’s all-time top scorer, a ranking currently led by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar with a total of 38,387 points.
