Nuggets and Heat, going after the dream ring in the NBA Finals by ESPN Caribbean

The Denver Nuggets are coming off a series sweep, sending Lebron and the Lakers back to Los Angeles. After leading 3-0 in the East, the Miami Heat dropped three straight to even the series. In game seven, Jimmy Butler and Caleb Martin’s combined 54 points propelled Miami past the Boston Celtics into the Finals. Both teams with an equal opportunity to become champions, and everything can be fully enjoyed on ESPN Caribbean. Stay tuned!

The Miami Heat have earned their spot in the NBA Finals out of the East after overcoming the Boston Celtics in seven games. With Jimmy Butler as the clear MVP, the Heat head to Denver for Game 1, to face Nikola Jokić and the Nuggets.

Jokic, Jamal Murray and the rest of the Nuggets are looking for their first ring in franchise history.

On the other hand, the Heat will go for their fourth title with the last being in 2013. Trying to go back-to-back again, Miami fell to the Spurs in five games in the 2014 NBA Finals. Then again to the Lakers in six games back in the 2020 bubble.

The Heat’s first-ever championship win was in 2006, with Pat Riley as their head coach, when they beat the Dallas Mavericks 4-2. The Heat became champs again in 2012, with current head coach Erik Spoelstra in charge, beating the Oklahoma City Thunder 4-1. And finally, their most recent win in 2013, with a tight 4-3 win over San Antonio.

These teams have met twice this season, and both duels went the way of the Denver Nuggets – who are led by Michael Malone, their head coach since 2015.

Will Denver close out this series in just four games, much like the Conference Finals? We will see, but for now follow alongside ESPN Caribbean and do not miss out on this exciting final series highlighting the world’s best basketball.
