| The 44th edition of the traditional Ryder Cup, with its unique format of facing the powerful teams of Europe and the United States in match play, will take place at the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Rome, Italy, from Friday, September 29 to Sunday, October 1st.
This competition brings together the highest ranking golfers in the world, divided into two teams of 12 members each. – Team Europe: Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Robert MacIntyre, Viktor Hovland, Tyrrell Hatton, Matt Fitzpatrick, Tommy Fleetwood, Sepp Straka, Justin Rose, Shane Lowry, Nicolai Hojgaard and Ludvig Aberg. Captainn: Luke Donald. Vicecaptains: Thomas Bjørn, Nicolas Colsaerts, José María Olazábal, Edoardo Molinari y Francesco Molinari. – Team United States: Sam Burns, Patrick Cantlay, Wyndham Clark, Rickie Fowler, Brian Harman, Max Homa, Brooks Koepka, Collin Morikawa, Xander Schauffele, Scottie Scheffler, Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas.
