ESPN Caribbean presents Super Bowl LVIII – a matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs – on Sunday, February 11 at 6:00 p.m. ET, from the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Super Bowl LVIII will air LIVE on ESPN Caribbean, marking the 16th year of Super Bowl coverage on the network.
The Super Bowl LVIII, the game of the year for the National Football League (NFL), is scheduled for Sunday, February 11, and can be followed minute by minute on ESPN Caribbean and ESPN Play.
The final game of the 2023-24 season will see the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers in front of 65k spectators at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. This stunning stadium was inaugurated in 2020 and will debut as the venue for the Super Bowl this year. With ten levels, over 2,300 TV’s, and 7,000 m2 of video screens, it is the world’s second most expensive stadium.
Super Bowl LVIII will be a rematch of the 2020 Super Bowl LIV, where the Chiefs reigned supreme with a 31-20 victory over the 49ers four years ago. Both teams feature star-studded rosters that should provide for an entertaining and thrilling game. The 49ers are looking to their franchises 6th overall Super Bowl and first since the 1994 season. The Chiefs, led by star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, are seeking to win back-to-back Super Bowls and their third Super Bowl in 5 seasons.
As it does every year, the Super Bowl is generating a lot of buzz for its highly-anticipated halftime show. This year, the performance will be headlined by Usher, the well-known R&B artist who has won eight Grammy® Awards. In addition, there will be other musical performances before the game, such as the singing of the national anthem by the famous country music singer Reba McEntire and a performance of “America the Beautiful” by Post Malone, the popular hip hop artist.
ESPN will broadcast Super Bowl LVIII to over 80 million households in more than 125 countries through its platforms in Latin America, the Caribbean, and other territories outside the United States.
