ESPN Renews Rights with the Premier League through 2028 in the Caribbean

The Premier League (EPL) is one of the key pillars of ESPN’s programming in the Caribbean. A new agreement extends these rights for the 2025-26, 2026-27, and 2027-28 seasons, with multiplatform exposure on both linear and digital channels.

ESPN, the home of top European football events, is proud to announce this new agreement with the Premier League, securing exclusive broadcasting rights across its multimedia ecosystem, along with Disney+’s extensive streaming platform, reaching over 103 million households per month.

Therefore, until 2028, all 380 Premier League matches will be available each season on ESPN and Disney+, with a selection of matches broadcast on linear channels.

“This new agreement through 2028 reinforces ESPN’s commitment and strong partnership with the English Premier League,” stated Guillermo Tabanera, SVP GM Sports Multiplatform & GM Distribution & Partnerships Disney Latam. “The long-term presence of top-tier European football competitions like the Premier League on ESPN and Disney+ allows us to further enhance our unmatched offering of live events.”

“The Premier League is of the most renowned sports properties in the world and play a key role in ESPN’s ongoing growth. This is why we are thrilled to extend our partnership with them for another three years,” said Michael Walters, VP Programming & Acquisitions ESPN International.

“We are delighted that ESPN has decided to extend its long-standing partnership with the Premier League for another three years,” said Paul Molnar, Chief Media Officer at the Premier League. “ESPN provides fans with outstanding coverage of the league through live match broadcasts and comprehensive programming, and we are excited to remain a central part of its live sports lineup.”
