The 2025 NBA Playoffs officially tip off on Saturday, April 19, with full first-round coverage available across ESPN platforms for fans in the Caribbean. The action begins at 1 p.m. ET as the fourth-seeded Indiana Pacers host the fifth-seeded Milwaukee Bucks 

 

At 3:30 p.m. on ESPN, the fifth seed LA Clippers square off against the fourth seed Denver Nuggets. The action continues at 6 p.m. with a marquee matchup between the sixth seed Detroit Pistons and third seed New York Knicks. Saturday’s coverage concludes at 8:30 p.m. as the sixth seed Minnesota Timberwolves take on the Los Angeles Lakers.  

 

Playoff excitement continues Sunday, April 20, with a double-header. Coverage begins at 1 p.m. as the West’s eighth seed (winner of Dallas Mavericks vs. Memphis Grizzlies on Friday, April 18) visits the top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder and league-leading scorer. At 3:30 p.m., the defending NBA Champion Boston Celtics begin their playoff run against the seventh-seeded Orlando Magic.  

 

Leading into the games, NBA Countdown, ESPN’s signature NBA pregame show, sets the stage for the weekend’s matchups. On Saturday, NBA Countdown Presented by Hennessy airs at 12 p.m. ET, followed by NBA Countdown Presented by Chime at 8 p.m. On Sunday, NBA Countdown Presented by Chime returns at 12:30 p.m. 

 

Coverage of Games 2, 3, and 4 of the first round will continue on ESPN from Tuesday, April 22 through Sunday, April 27, with NBA Countdown airing ahead of each night’s key matchups.
