ESPNF1 Overview

ESPNF1 launched in 2009 following ESPN’s acquisition, redesign and rebranding of Racing-Live.com (founded in 1997), making it one of the newest editions to ESPN’s world-leading digital media portfolio.  Like many of its sibling sites, ESPNF1 has been growing quickly, increasing its global unique audience by 46 percent over the past 12 months, now averaging more than 650,000 unique users per month.

F1

The site is focused exclusively on the day-to-day coverage of F1, the most popular motorsport competition in the world, and delivers news, analysis, live coverage of each F1 grand prix, in-depth statistics on the hundreds of drivers who have driven in a race, as well information on every race since 1950. The site also features contributors from leading figures from the sport such as Karun Chandhok (India’s most recognised Formula One driver), Sam Bird (one of the world’s up-and-coming GP2 drivers) and Tonio Liuzzi (an F1 driver for Red Bull, Toro Rosso, Force India, and currently at HRT for 2011).

ESPNF1 also offers mobile, audio and video services including the weekly ESPNF1 weekly video and audio podcast, iPhone and Android mobile apps and a leading mobile Web site.  The site is currently available in English, French and Japanese.
