X Games Austin Returns, Live and On-Demand on ESPN Player

ESPN Player will bring action sports fans live and on-demand coverage of the X Games between June 3rd and June 6th, as the world’s best action sports athletes return to Austin, Texas.
Celebrating its third and final year at Circuit of The Americas, the premier action sports and youth cultural experience will showcase the talents of more than 200 world-class action sports athletes competing for medals and prize money.
Athletes will compete across disciplines in Skateboarding, BMX and Moto X and this year will see the return of BMX Street, Moto X Best Trick, Moto X Freestyle and Women’s Skateboard Park. The competitive action begins with Moto X Step Up at 01:30am BST on the morning of Friday 3rd June. ESPN Player’s live and on-demand coverage will be action-packed throughout the weekend including America’s Navy Skateboard Big Air, Coors Light Moto X Freestyle, Toyota Skateboard Park and Austin’s favourite – Intel BMX Dirt, will wrap things up late Sunday evening.
Several British athletes are set to compete in Austin, such as BMX superstar Jamie Bestwick, who will be looking to add to his haul of 13 X Games gold medals. He will be joined by fellow British BMX riders aiming to finish on the podium such as multiple medallist Simon Tabron and 2014 BMX Dirt runner-up, Ben Wallace.
In addition to the action on the course, X Games Austin 2016 will feature musical performances and festival villages. This year’s musical performances will include blink-182, G-Eazy, All Time Low and Logic, who will take centre stage at the Austin360 Amphitheatre.
