The Sandman had been bump drafting Tony Stewart for most of the previous 18 hours.
It caught him for 45 minutes between Stewart’s third NASCAR Sprint Cup Series title — captured in Miami on ESPN on Sunday night — and his first Car Wash appearance on our Bristol campus Monday morning.
But Stewart recovered from the catnap and the flight north to share his thoughts on various ESPN platforms including SportsCenter, First Take, The Herd with Colin Cowherd, ESPN.com and many more.
