ESPN Digital Media had a record year in 2014 in Spanish-speaking Latin America. Not only was it the top sports property in the region, it also ranked tops in several key categories in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Mexico.  Below are highlights.

Pan-regional
ESPN ranked as the #1 sports property in Spanish-speaking Latin America during 2014 in average monthly unique users (4.2 million) and #2 in average monthly minutes and average monthly page views. (comScore Media Metrix)

Digital
ESPN.com also had its best year on record in terms of average daily unique visitors (+20% YoY), total minutes (+15% YoY) and total video starts (+16% YoY). (Adobe Analytics)

Video
ESPN.com had its most successful year to date with more video starts across on the desktop and mobile site than ever (Adobe Analytics).  In Mexico, Colombia, and Argentina, ESPN ranked as the #1 online sports video site with more video starts, video minutes and unique users than any other competitive sports video site (comScore Video Metrix).

ESPN Play
2014 was also a record year for ESPN Play, ESPN’s broadband streaming service.   Average monthly unique viewers grew by 70% and video minutes grew by 53%(Adobe Analytics)

Argentina
ESPN ranked as the #1 online sports video website in Argentina as it led with the most total videos, most total minutes and most average monthly unique visitors. (comScore Video Metrix)

Chile
ESPN ranked as the #2 online sports video property in Chile for the fourth quarter of 2014 with 90K avg. monthly unique visitors and 1.2 million average monthly video starts. (comScore Video Metrix)

Colombia
From April 2014, ESPN ranked as the #1 online sports video property in Colombia with 4.8 million average monthly video starts, 11 million average monthly minutes, and 236K average monthly unique visitors. Mexico
ESPN ranked as the #1 online sports video property as it led with the most total video starts, most total video minutes and most average monthly unique visitors. Throughout the year, ESPN had more video starts than the entire sports category combined (comScore Video Metrix).  ESPN finished the year ranking as the #2 online sports property in Mexico with 26 million average monthly minutes.
