ESPN International Presents Conference Semifinals of the 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs and exclusive coverage of the MLS Cup on Dec. 6

The Major League Soccer coverage across ESPN networks in Latin America, Brazil, Caribbean, Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands continues this weekend with the live presentation of the Conference Semifinals beginning Sunday, Nov. 1 with an exclusive doubleheader at 3 p.m. ET between D.C. United and New York Red Bulls, followed by Portland Timbers vs. Vancouver Whitecaps.

Coverage of the Conference Semifinals will be led by commentators Adrian Healey, analyst Taylor Twellman.  Jon Champion will have his Major League Soccer debut on Sunday, Nov. 8, calling the first match of the doubleheader with Alejandro Moreno. Richard Mendez and Giovanni Savarese will lead the Spanish-speaking team of commentators.

The Conference Semifinals exclusive telecasts will be complemented by multiplatform news and information coverage including highlights, analysis and previews on, ESPNFC television show and SportsCenter.

ESPN International networks will conclude its season of Major League Soccer coverage with an exclusive presentation of the MLS Cup 2015 live on Sunday, Dec. 6, at 4 p.m. ET.

This is the 20 consecutive year that ESPN presents extensive coverage of MLS showcasing some of the league’s top players and rivalries through the season. As part of the offerings, ESPN International telecasts 34 regular season games, six playoff matches and the MLS Cup or All Star Game – alternating years. In addition, ESPN platforms across the regions complement the live telecasts with comprehensive news and information and studio programming throughout the season.

Gaby Nuñez is manager of communications for ESPN Deportes and ESPN Latin American. She joined ESPN in October 2010 and is based in the company’s New York City offices. In this role, Gaby is responsible for the creative development, strategy and overall publicity efforts for ESPN Deportes and ESPN Latin America. Gaby grew up in Caracas, Venezuela and later moved to the U.S. Prior to joining ESPN, Gaby worked a various PR agencies in Miami and Los Angeles.
