ESPN’s multiplatform coverage of UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 continues with the daily presentation of a quarterfinal round match on ESPN2 beginning Wednesday, July 20, through Saturday, July 23. Six teams – Sweden (2), France (3), Germany (4), Netherlands (5), Spain (7), and host England (8) – in the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 quarterfinals are top eight in the current FIFA World Rankings for women’s national teams.

On Wednesday evening, the biggest stars in sports and entertainment convened at The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles to celebrate the year’s best moments in sports at The 2022 ESPYS Presented by Capital One. Airing live on ABC, the show was hosted by recent NBA Champion and Finals MVP Stephen Curry. Curry opened the show with playful jokes towards his NBA contemporaries before reflecting on his offseason, noting that hosting tonight was welcome after hosting his children’s birthday parties. Famed impressionist Jay Pharoah then joined the 4-time champ on stage for a musical number, celebrating that the sharpshooter has “finally made it” by hosting the ESPYS.

The only competition of the day, BMX Street, saw Garrett Reynolds make history with his fifteenth X Games gold medal. With the win, Reynolds ties Shaun White for most gold X Games medals which White has held since 2013.

X Games 2022 Day Three News and Results

ESPN launches its annual, all-encompassing coverage of the Little League Baseball and Softball U.S. Region and World Series tournaments this weekend on ESPN platforms. The action begins Saturday, July 23, with Little League Softball Region Tournament games and culminates with ESPN’s multi-platform coverage of the 75th Anniversary of the Little League Baseball World Series from Williamsport, Pa., August 17-28.
