Andre Rohe

Andre Rohe serves as EVP, Product Engineering for Disney Entertainment and ESPN. In this role, he leads a world-class team that integrates Engineering disciplines across Product, Media, Commerce, Growth, Identity, as well as Quality Assurance, to drive Disney’s media products and businesses.
Rohe plays a key role in driving digital innovation at Disney, ensuring its digital consumer products and technological infrastructure power and advance Disney’s unparalleled entertainment, storytelling, and sports content on a global scale. This includes setting the strategic engineering vision and direction, and he and his teams are central in the engineering of streaming video, user experience, engagement, and retention, personalization, AI and machine learning, data, development of CDN strategies, formats and standards, core media platforms, and more.
For over 20 years, Rohe has been at the forefront of emerging technology, pioneering transformational innovations in personalization and search that have shaped the digital landscape. Prior to Disney, Rohe held engineering leadership roles at Meta, YouTube, Google, and Tabula. An avid basketball fan, world traveler, and proud father, Andre resides in San Francisco, Calif. and holds a PhD in Discrete Mathematics from the University of Bonn in Germany.
