Studio, Digital & Radio Host
Ashley Brewer joined ESPN in March of 2020 as a host for studio and digital programming as well as programming on ESPN Radio.
Her primary responsibility is hosting The Replay, a digital show launched in April of 2020 on Quibi. As the exclusive U.S. multi-sport content provider for Quibi’s Daily Essentials, ESPN’s The Replay features daily episodes and breaking news covering the biggest stories in sports. The show is produced from ESPN’s Studio E in Bristol, Conn., which is dedicated exclusively to digital content and shows.
Brewer also contributes to ESPN Stories, an editorially curated platform that delivers fun, dynamic storytelling content from the ESPN App. ESPN stories launched in July of 2020.
In addition to her work on ESPN digital platforms, Brewer is a SportsCenter anchor, appearing on ESPN’s signature news and information program for the first time in September of 2020, and she is a co-host of the Sunday night edition of GameNight on ESPN Radio.
Prior to joining ESPN, Brewer most recently served as weekend anchor and host for ABC7 in Los Angeles, covering the Dodgers in the World Series, Rams in the Super Bowl, and other major sporting events, in addition to co-hosting The Bachelor Winter Games on ABC. She began her career as a college football sideline reporter for Cox 7 and weekend sports anchor at KGUN-9, the ABC affiliate in Tucson, Ariz.
She attended the University of Southern California, where she was a member of the varsity women’s swimming team. She was a standout swimmer at Chaparral High School in her native Scottsdale, Az., and her brothers and sisters were college athletes as well. .
