Baron Miller
Coordinating Producer, SEC Network/ESPN
Baron Miller joined ESPN in December 2000 and is currently a coordinating producer II, overseeing SEC Network football studio production, including the network’s premier traveling pre-game show, SEC Nation. Miller is also the production lead on Rally Cap – the only college baseball and softball studio show on any network,, and spearheads SECN’s studio coverage of the SEC Baseball Tournament and Men’s College World Series. For several years, Miller was one of the production leads on ESPN’s presentation of The Home Depot College Football Awards.
With a career spanning nearly 25 years, Miller has risen through the production ranks at ESPN. Miller has been a coordinating producer for a decade, working on various ESPNU programming before shifting his focus to SEC Network in 2018. Miller was the creator of the hit franchise, “Little Experts,” which faced tot-sized talent against some of the biggest personalities in sports to both humanize and bring levity to conversations. Miller also created Palmer & Pollack for ESPNU and was the lead producer on College Football Daily, The Experts and several iterations of National Signing Day.
Throughout his ESPN tenure, Miller produced the ESPYs Red Carpet, the ESPN College Basketball Awards and multiple editions of the Tournament Challenge Marathon, which was a 24-hour programming stunt to preview the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Tournaments across ESPN platforms. He began as a production assistant from 2000-03 before being elevated to associate producer, a role he held until 2007. Miller was promoted to producer in 2007 and then became a producer II in 2012.
Miller is based out of ESPN’s Charlotte studios and is a native of the Queen City. A proud NC State alum, Miller resides with his wife and two children in the Charlotte metro area.
