Multi-Platform Host / Reporter
Charly Arnolt – who joined ESPN on a full-time basis in April 2021 – is a multi-platform host and reporter contributing to many of ESPN’s signature brands including First Take and SportsCenter. Arnolt regularly appears on ESPN+’s weekday morning show, SportsNation along with other digital shows across the industry-leading sports streaming service. In January 2021, Arnolt launched a weekly ESPN Podcast entitled First Take, Her Take alongside co-hosts Kimberley A. Martin and Chiney Ogwumike.
Arnolt originally joined ESPN in September 2018 hosting select editions of First Take, SportsCenter updates and SportsCenter on Snapchat. She first gained attention nationally starting in 2016 as host and backstage interviewer Charly Caruso, with the WWE.
Originally from Indianapolis, Arnolt’s extensive broadcasting career has also included hosting a nationally syndicated radio show and a self-created web series, both of which combined sports, entertainment and comedy. Additionally, she spent several years as an anchor on local FOX, CBS and NBC affiliates across Indiana, Missouri and West Virginia covering the NFL, NBA, IndyCar and a variety of college sports.
Arnolt is a NASM certified personal trainer. She also attended American University in Washington, D.C. and graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism.
