Chris Eubanks is a former professional tennis player who serves as a tennis analyst and commentator for ESPN, bringing a current player’s perspective to the network’s tennis coverage.
A standout at Georgia Tech, Eubanks played three seasons of college tennis from 2015–17, earning ACC Player of the Year honors in 2016 and 2017 and becoming a two-time All-American. He turned professional in 2017 and rose steadily through the ATP ranks, reaching a career-high world ranking of No. 29 in July 2023.
Eubanks’ breakthrough season came in 2023, highlighted by a run to the Wimbledon quarterfinals. That year, he finished fifth on the ATP Tour in Serve Rating, underscoring the strength of one of the most effective serves in the men’s game. Over the course of his career, he won four ATP Challenger titles and established himself among the Top 30 players in the world.
On the international stage, Eubanks represented Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games and was a member of the U.S. Davis Cup team in 2024, further reflecting his standing within American men’s tennis.
He retired from full-time competition in 2025 and transitioned into broadcasting. Eubanks contributes to ESPN’s presentations of major tennis events, offering insight grounded in his firsthand experience competing against today’s top players.
