The lead commentator for Sky Sports’ coverage of Formula 1, David Croft anchors the F1 race, practice and qualifying telecasts that are airing on ESPN and ABC. He has been on the microphone for Sky Sports every time the F1 cars are on the track since 2012.

Croft also is lead commentator for Sky Sports Darts during the PDC World Darts Championship, a position he has held since 2013.

Croft’s broadcasting background includes calling F1 on radio for BBC from 2006-2011. He also broadcast darts competitions for BBC for 10 years. Other motorsports series he has broadcast include GT1 and GP2, and he has also called the action in football and boxing.
