Coordinating Producer
Drew Gallagher joined ESPN in 2000, and is currently a coordinating producer. He oversees production of ESPN’s college sports studio shows, including College GameDay (football and basketball), College Football Playoff Top 25 Rankings Show, College Football Live, and the NFL Draft on ABC.
Gallagher’s 20-year career at ESPN began as a production assistant, working primarily on NHL 2 Night – cutting highlights, features and producing graphics. In 2011, he moved into a new role as a features manager, where he oversaw production of ESPN features, specifically for College GameDay.
His work has been recognized by a number of industry-wide organizations, including several Sports Emmys, Gold Medal from the New York Festivals (“My Wish”) and a Gracie Award (“Mighty Macs”).
Prior to joining ESPN, he was a special projects coordinator for the New England Sports Network (NESN).
A native of Media, Pa., Gallagher is a graduate of Boston College, where he earned a bachelor of arts in communications and history in 1999.
