Vice President, Product Management – Fantasy & Premium Products, ESPN
George Leimer is vice president of product management – fantasy & premium products at ESPN, a position he has held since December 2013. Leimer oversees product vision and management of all fantasy games and revenue products. He leads a team that is responsible for defining user experience and business goals, and working with design and technical resources to execute the corresponding roadmap.
Prior to joining ESPN, Leimer held roles at Apple, Inc., Planfortytwo, eBay, Inc., Half.com and CoreTech Consulting Group, Inc. He is a member of the original management team at Half.com that helped the $375 million acquisition of Half.com by eBay. Leimer is also the founder of two start-ups, including Fanhood.com that was eventually acquired by Fox Sports digital.
A Philadelphia native, Leimer graduated from Widener University with a Bachelor of Science in Management with a concentration in Information Systems.
