Hilary Guy

Vice President of Production, WNBA and NBA Studio
Hilary Guy is Vice President of Production for WNBA and NBA Studio at ESPN. In this role, she oversees all studio shows, including NBA and WNBA Countdown, NBA Today, the NBA and WNBA Drafts, Draft Lotteries, and all Free Agency and Trade Deadline specials. She also manages production teams and on-air talent across these programs.
Since joining ESPN in 2015, Guy has played a key role in elevating ESPN’s NBA studio programming. She launched NBA Today in 2021, restructured the NBA analyst request system to optimize contributions across ESPN platforms, and oversaw ESPN’s first-ever WNBA Expansion Draft Special.
Prior to joining ESPN, Guy worked at NFL Network, where she managed the Player Health and Safety Unit and served as a Features Producer. She began her career at NBC News, rising to producer roles for NBC Nightly News and The Today Show, eventually overseeing news coverage of the Southern United States, the Caribbean and Latin America for The Today Show.
With a background spanning both entertainment and sports, Guy brings a versatile perspective to ESPN’s NBA and WNBA content strategy, shaping innovative storytelling across multiple platforms. A four-time News and Documentary Emmy Award winner with multiple nominations in both news and sports, she is a graduate of Boston University with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Broadcast Journalism and a Minor in History. She resides in Los Angeles with her family.
