Johann Castillo is Vice President of Studio Production at ESPN with more than 20 years of experience in the industry. In his current role, Castillo oversees SportsCenter at Night, Screening, and ESPN’s 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. ET editions of SportsCenter. He also plays a key role in developing Content Producers across the company.

Previously, Castillo’s portfolio included SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt, Rise, and SportsCenter LA. Throughout his career, he has contributed to the production of marquee programs such as NFL Countdown, SportsCenter, SC on the Road, and NBA studio shows. He has also managed content groups responsible for teasers, promos, trailers, and sales elements for studio programming.

A graduate of Boston College, Castillo earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Communication in 2003.
