Jonathan Vilma joined ESPN as a college football commentator in July 2016, working alongside his former coach Butch Davis.

The former linebacker from the University of Miami won a national championship title with the team in 2001. He was drafted by the New York Jets in 2004, playing with them for four years before being traded to the New Orleans Saints in 2008. Vilma retired in 2014.

Prior to joining ESPN, Vilma served as a pre-game and halftime analyst for NBC and NBCSN’s coverage of Notre Dame Football.
