Vice President, Production

Judson Burch is a Vice President, Production at ESPN currently overseeing the 7 am and 2 pm editions of SportsCenter, as well as the weekend morning editions. He joined ESPN in December 1993, starting as a production assistant and progressing through roles like associate producer and highlight supervisor, ultimately becoming a producer in 1998.

From 1998 to 2005, Burch produced more than 1,000 episodes of “Baseball Tonight,” the show that originally made him an ESPN viewer. In 2000, he created the renowned “Web Gems”, the long-time defensive showcase segment for “Baseball Tonight”.

After the 2005 World Series, he became a Coordinating Producer for the 11 pm and 1 am editions of “SportsCenter” until 2010. From 2010 to 2014, Burch oversaw ESPN’s studio highlights operation.

In 2014, he became the Senior Coordinating Producer of SportsCenter @ Night, managing shows from Bristol, Los Angeles, and “SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt.”

In 2019, Burch was named Senior Coordinating Producer of the daytime editions of “SportsCenter” and has since worked with the daytime group. 

Originally from Delaware, Burch is a native of Chester County, PA.  He holds a BA in Journalism from Penn State University, graduating in 1992.
