Justin Craig is Vice President of Digital & Audio Production for ESPN, overseeing a diverse portfolio that includes live digital shows and custom series, ESPN Podcasts, ESPN Radio’s extensive live event coverage, the 24/7 ESPN Radio talk network, and content for ESPN New York and ESPN Los Angeles radio. A 20-year ESPN veteran, Craig has played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s audio and digital content offerings.
Promoted to his current role in August 2024, Craig leads the production of more than 450 live digital events annually, amplifying ESPN’s original content across digital platforms. Under his leadership, the ESPN Podcast portfolio spans a wide array of programming available on the ESPN App, SiriusXM, linear television, and YouTube. Additionally, ESPN Audio’s remote events team delivers over 275 live game broadcasts per year, covering marquee regular season and championship events across the NFL, NBA, MLB, college football, and college basketball.
Previously, Craig was a respected leader of ESPN’s 24/7 talk radio network and content strategy for ESPN New York and ESPN Los Angeles. In this role, he was instrumental in developing talent and shaping shows that would become key fixtures in ESPN’s audio lineup.
Before returning to ESPN’s national network in 2017, Craig served as Program Director for ESPN 1000 in Chicago and later ESPN New York. In these roles, he played a significant part in developing some of the longest-running local sports radio programs, including Waddle & Silvy in Chicago and The Michael Kay Show in New York. Earlier in his career, Craig was one of the original producers of the Broadcasters Hall of Fame duo Mike & Mike, helping launch the show in 2000.
Craig began his ESPN journey as a part-time overnight board operator during the early years of ESPN Radio, steadily rising through the ranks to oversee night and weekend programming before moving into leadership roles in Chicago and New York.
A native of Western New York, Craig earned a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and mass communication from St. Bonaventure University. His alma mater recognized his contributions to the industry with an induction into the WSBU Radio Hall of Fame.
Craig lives in Burlington, Conn., with his wife and two children.
