Lindsay Rovegno is an Emmy-winning executive whose ESPN career has been defined by excellence in multiple arenas including narrative series, investigative journalism, and features.

She currently serves as the Vice President of Production for ESPN Originals, where she oversees the production of all episodic series. In this role, she provides creative development and editorial oversight, oversees brand growth, guides promotional strategy, advises on business and legal frameworks, provides integral insight to the greater Original Content leadership group, and works tirelessly to elevate the visibility of ESPN series content across Disney platforms.

As Executive Producer, she has guided a compelling slate of projects that has transformed ESPN Originals from a new division to an industry leader in multi-part sports content. That slate includes Man in The Arena: Tom Brady, which won a 2022 Emmy for Outstanding Sports Documentary, and the Places franchise, featuring a roster of stars including Peyton and Eli Manning and Sue Bird. Her newest series include Full Court Press, featuring Caitlin Clark, and In the Arena: Serena Williams, which made its world premiere as an official selection at the 2024 Tribeca Festival.

Beyond her production oversight, her vision has helped establish the creative and brand imprint for Originals – a vision reflected in the highest standards of episodic sports storytelling.

Prior to her Originals tenure, Lindsay produced features for Outside the Lines, ESPN’s premiere investigative journalism team, and oversaw features for SportsCenter’s Emmy-winning brand, SC Featured. Lindsay won a Peabody in 2018 for her work as a managing producer on “Spartan Silence: Crisis at Michigan State”. Since she began her ESPN journey as a production assistant in 2004, her dedication and leadership have propelled her through the ranks, establishing her as a distinguished professional in television, digital media, and streaming.

She is a graduate of Cornell University, where she captained the Big Red women’s soccer team.

Lindsay brings a wealth of knowledge and a profound passion for storytelling to her work. Her ability to lead diverse teams, her skillful collaboration with internal and external partners, and her commitment to excellence have made her an integral part of ESPN’s continued success in sports media.
