An industry veteran with over two decades of experience, Lya Vallat joined ESPN in August of 2025. She currently serves as a coordinating producer, working on women’s college basketball across ESPN networks.

Vallat comes to ESPN from the NFL Network, where she spent 10 years as a Senior Coordinating Producer directing strategy and distribution for original content and signature shows, including Total Access and Gameday Morning. Prior to that, she led production for various collegiate sports, including women’s basketball, as a CP for the Big Ten Network.

Her vast production experience includes stops at MASN, Fox Sports West and a prior stint at ESPN, where she produced both events and studio shows.

Vallet graduated from San Diego State University in 1998 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications.
