Vice President, Content Business Operations

Nick Parsons was named to the newly created position of Vice President, Content and Business Planning, in April of 2024. In August of 2024, he added additional responsibilities and his title was changed to Vice President, Content Business Operations.

In his role, Parsons focuses on strategic planning for the Content organization and has financial oversight over all Content spending. In addition, he manages ESPN’s extensive relationship with Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions, which cuts across all facets of ESPN’s business. Parsons works to focus resources and efforts on the areas of ESPN’s large, highly-complex organization that align most with strategic priorities and growth of the Content business.

During Parsons’ ESPN career, he has a history of working closely across numerous cross-function teams – previously he served as VP, Content, Programming & Ad Sales in Finance. Parsons led a team responsible for providing strategic analysis and business planning support for all internal and external content and programming decisions. His responsibilities included preparing the Annual Operating Plan, Five-Year Strategic Plan, and monthly/quarterly forecasts for all domestic linear and digital properties.

Starting as a production assistant, his ESPN career began in 2003 and he has held a number of progressively challenging roles during his time at ESPN and Disney.

Parsons obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance & Marketing from Marist College.
