Terrika Foster-Brasby

Analyst/Host/Reporter
Terrika Foster-Brasby is an analyst, host, and reporter for ESPN. She appears on a variety of programs on ESPN digital platforms, including WNBA Hoop Streams, BBTN Live and Countdown to GameDay. Foster-Brasby has been a regular contributor to ESPN’s WNBA coverage, including during the 2022 WNBA Playoffs when she served as reporter. She has also covered NBA All-Star Weekend and the WNBA Draft as a social host for Andscape.
Foster-Brasby is co-host of the weekly WNBA-themed Around The Rim video series on ESPN’s YouTube channel, alongside host/analyst LaChina Robinson. She produced the show for six years when it originally launched as a women’s basketball podcast for espnW. In 2017, the popular offering was named one of the best sports podcasts of the year by Sports Illustrated.
Foster-Brasby began her career at ESPN in 2014 on ESPN Radio, serving as a part-time digital audio editor. In that role, she assisted on the production of ESPN original podcasts, including His & Hers, Fantasy Focus Football, The Hoop Collective, The Poker Edge, Hokey Today, and BBTN. She was also lead producer for The Mina Kimes Show, That’s What She Said with Sarah Spain, and several Andscape (formerly The Undefeated) podcasts including The Plug, and the All Day Podcast with Clinton Yates.
In 2021, Foster-Brasby transitioned to ESPN Social, where she led audio social strategy on Twitter and WNBA coverage across ESPN social platforms as a Senior Social Specialist. Her efforts helped ESPN Social double the number of WNBA-focused posts across multiple accounts, resulting in significant increases in both impressions and total video views. She also worked closely with ESPN on-air personalities and linear programs in the social space, including First Take and NBA Today. She has also contributed editorial content to espnW and Andscape.
Beyond her ESPN role, Foster-Brasby is the sideline reporter and game analyst for the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun. She has appeared on Fox Sports Radio, NPR, CBS Sports Network, Amazon Prime Sports, and is a regular contributor to Peacock’s Brother From Another. Her international appearances include the CBC, Canada’s top news network, and she has been a part of various MSNBC panels. Foster-Brasby has had bylines in The New York Times and was featured in editions of WSlam Magazine.
Prior to ESPN, Foster-Brasby was a freelance writer for the Yahoo! Contributor Network, where she covered the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers.
A native of Detroit, Mich., Foster-Brasby earned a bachelor’s degree in political science/ pre-Law from St. Augustine’s University, an HBCU in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she was also a member of the Lady Falcons Softball team. She then earned a master’s degree in new media journalism from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Fla.
