ESPN Unveils Enhanced ESPN MediaZone Web site

ESPN has relaunched the ESPN MediaZone Web site with innovative enhancements to ease the user’s experience. The new site includes more multimedia elements and new tools that allow visitors to share more content with a larger audience.
Similar to the older version, photography is available to qualified members of the media who sign up for a MediaZone account. The new video player gives everyone the opportunity to email, embed and link to each video on the site. ESPN also showcases its social media participation through the ESPN Water Cooler and the ESPN Communications Twitter feeds which are both incorporated into the menus. Programming schedules, media kits, conference calls and media contacts can also be found on the menu bars and are shareable by direct links to each page.
New features also include the comprehensive regional pages that display ESPN’s presence worldwide. Each region’s page provides visitors with general information about ESPN networks in that region, TV schedules, most recent highlights and more. The “ESPN Global” category on the U.S. site’s main page gives visitors an overview of headlines from each region.
The ESPN MediaZone Web site is a place for breaking news. Stay tuned for an exciting announcement to be revealed on the site at noon today. The newest version of the ESPN MediaZone can be found at the original web address: http://espnpressroom.com/.
