In a stellar salute to the 30th anniversary of “The Empire Strikes Back,” Darth Vader and his Storm Troopers joined Boba Fett to help Colin Cowherd and a light saber-swinging Michelle Beadle on SportsNation presented by Toyota (weekdays, 4 p.m. ET and midnight, ESPN2) with the special “Star Wars Movie Game” on the show.

When asked to guess who SportsNation would consider the better “zen master” between the Lakers’ Phil Jackson and Yoda, Cowherd said it might be Yoda if the 900-year-old Jedi weren’t so “physcially unappealing.” His comment was met with a resounding “boo” from the Studio B audience. But the highlight of the special edition was the final question. Better “wookie:” Tim Tebow or Chewbacca? Beadle went with Chewie — “silent and strong, that’s how I like them” — while Colin chose Tebow. Result? SportsNation preferred the interplanetary hairy rug over the baby Bronco by 73 percent.
