Networks and Times for 12th Annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge

ESPN has finalized the schedule for the 12th annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge Presented by Dick’s Sporting Goods to be played Nov. 29-Dec. 1.  For the sixth consecutive year, the ACC/Big Ten Challenge will feature 11 games, televised on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU. ESPN3.com will simulcast the ESPN and ESPN2 telecasts. 

This year’s event – featuring top college basketball programs playing for conference supremacy and the Commissioner’s Cup – will be highlighted by Michigan State at Duke Wednesday, Dec. 1, at 9:30 p.m. on ESPN and ESPN3.com. Duke is ranked No. 1 and Michigan State No. 3 in an early preseason top 25 poll by ESPN.com senior college basketball writer Andy Katz. Additional teams in the ESPN.com poll comprise No. 2 Purdue at No. 22 Virginia Tech, No. 11 North Carolina at No. 15 Illinois and No. 6 Ohio State at Florida State. The Big Ten won the Commissioner’s Cup last year for the first time in 10 years.
