College GameDay Built by The Home Depot – beginning on ESPNU at 9 a.m. ET and continuing on ESPN at 10 a.m. every Saturday and simulcast on ESPN Radio – and College GameDay on ESPN Radio – Saturdays from noon to 7 p.m. – will originate live from Madison, Wis., this Saturday, site of No. 1 Ohio State at No. 18 Wisconsin (televised on ESPN and ESPN3.com at 7 p.m.).
Chris Fowler hosts the Emmy Award-winning program with analysts Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard. Erin Andrews anchors several segments of the first hour on ESPNU and contributes reports, interviews and features during the ESPN portion. College GameDay on ESPN Radio is hosted by Ryen Russillo with analysts Trevor Matich and Brad Edwards.
Saturday’s schedule across ESPN networks includes three top-10 teams in action:
- Texas will visit No. 5 Nebraska in a rematch of last year’s thrilling Big 12 Championship game at 3:30 p.m. on ABC, ESPN and ESPN3.com;
- An ESPN2/ESPN3.com doubleheader will see No. 10 South Carolina – coming off a victory over then-No. 1 Alabama – at Kentucky at 6 p.m., followed by No. 8 Alabama – looking to bounce back from its first loss since the Sugar Bowl in 2008 – against Mississippi at 9 p.m.
Also, ESPN analysts Bob and Brian Griese will work together for the first time, on the Minnesota at Purdue game, Saturday at noon on ESPN2, ESPN2.com (also on ESPN Radio). The father/son quarterbacks – Bob played for Purdue and Brian at Michigan before each reached the NFL – did both work the Outback Bowl last year, but Bob was on TV while Brian was heard on ESPN Radio. They will be joined in the booth by Dave Pasch (no relation).
