ESPN’s new women’s brand, espnW, hosted its inaugural retreat this weekend in La Jolla, Calif. Some of the biggest names in women’s sports (athletes, experts and business) gathered to discuss a variety of issues relating to women who participate in sports. The new digital platform will launch in Spring 2011 and speak to women who are/were high school and college athletes, and who are sports fans.
