Over 50 exclusive college basketball games slated, including appearances from a dozen notable and top teams this season

Beginning Monday, ESPN3.com will kick off its largest exclusive programming slate of college basketball games for the 2010-2011 season.  ESPN’s 24/7 signature broadband spots network will tip off coverage Nov. 8 at 8 p.m. EST with UC Irvine vs. Illinois.  Other notable team appearances include #1 Duke, #4 Pittsburgh, #5 Ohio State, #6 Villanova, #13 Syracuse and more.

“Last year, total hours of college basketball consumed during the regular season went up 266 percent versus the previous year,” said Damon Phillips, vice president of ESPN3.com.  “We are dedicated to serving this rapidly growing audience of passionate fans with the best viewing experience possible for games they can’t find any place else.”

ESPN3.com is available online in approximately 65 million households nationwide via dozens of affiliated Internet and cable TV service providers including Time Warner Cable, Comcast, AT&T, Verizon, Cox, Charter, Windstream, RCN, Insight, Frontier, Cavalier, Mediacom, Conway, Grande Communications and many more.  It is also available at no cost to approximately 21 million U.S. college students and U.S.-based military personnel via on-campus educational networks and on-base military networks.  Fans who are also an Xbox LIVE Gold member will be able to access the games via ESPN on Xbox LIVE.
