November Issue Now Available, Featuring Exclusive Cover with Miami Heat Stars

ESPN Deportes La Revista, the Spanish-language counterpart of ESPN The Magazine, will be making its digital debut with the current November 2010 issue which gives readers an in-depth look at the Miami Heat and Latino pro basketball player Carlos Arroyo. With an exclusive cover story on the Miami Heat and players Carlos Arroyo, Dwayne Wade and LeBron James, sport fans will now have instant access to the magazine’s content online, whether by iPad, iPhone, desktop or laptop.

The decision to launch the digital version of ESPN Deportes La Revista is a result of the publication’s increasingly popularity among Hispanic readers and the need to serve these fans everywhere.  The magazine, #1 in its field, is published monthly with a national circulation of 65,000 copies and an overall audience of over 250,000 readers per issue.

“After five years in the market, this is another milestone for our publication, which continues to be embraced by Latino fans everywhere,” said Sam Pagan, publisher of ESPN Deportes La Revista. “By offering a digital version, we are giving readers access to our exclusive coverage at the click of a mouse, making it easy and convenient to stay on top of the news and our sports stories.”

ESPN Deportes La Revista will be available in its digital format through Zinio.com, the largest online newsstand in the world.  The magazine’s readers will have the option of choosing a single issue for $2.99 or opt for an $18 yearly subscription. ESPN Deportes is also promoting the magazine through an email newsletter, which is sent to a national database of ESPN’s Latino fans on a monthly basis.
